Ten percent of the 1.7 million people aged between 60 and the state pension age took early retirement in 2024: 167,800 in total. By the end of 2024, 1.3 million people aged 60 and over had a supplementary pension with an employer. Women were less likely than men to have this. Statistics Netherlands (CBS) reports this on the basis of newly released figures.
